Synopsis
Goodbye Mister Octopus is a coming-of-age tale entirely hand-animated in Quill that tells the story of teenager Stella on her 16th birthday as she navigates the struggles--and benefits--of becoming independent of her parents. Upset, she blames her overprotective father, saying he is the reason her mother, a star anthropologist who lives on the other side of the world, left them. But a letter from her mom will shift Stella’s perspective. Heartfelt and illuminating, follow Stella as she learns so much more about herself, her family, and what it means to grow up.
