Synopsis
The Boxer: Last 14 Round is a fictional VR movie based on the story of Kim Deuk-gu, who unfortunately passed away during the WBA world title match. Through the immersive space created by volumetric capture, which was only filmed with an iPhone, the users are able to experience the story of Deuk-gu Kim from a closer perspective, rather than simply watching.
One day, Kang Hoon sees a world boxing title match poster and starts boxing with the goal of becoming a champion. After a long journey, he stands on the ring where his dreams may come true, and continues the last 14 round. The aim of this VR movie is to let the users think about why this tragic stories had to happen, what have changes to the boxing and other fighting sports world, and why we should remember the match.
