Synopsis

In the world filled with mystical creatures constructed by Miwa Komatsu, these creatures will guide the experiencer through a journey of self-reflection, assertion, and spiritual reincarnation. In the virtual world, the experiencer will be able draw connection to the world as well as their inner self, bringing blessings from the unreal to the reality.

Biography

Komatsu’s artwork reflects her special connection to nature and its life cycles. In 2015, she collaborated with landscape artist Kazuyuki Ishihara with Arita porcelain “Guardian Lion Dogs” at the Chelsea Flower Show in London, which is now part of the permanent collection at the British Museum. She continues to attract international attention and has been collected by institutions such as the World Trade Center in New York.
