Estela Valdivieso Chen, with heritage from both Bolivia and Taiwan, she was raised in a
multi-cultural environment, and started her path in the film industry working on Ang Lee and
Tsai Ming-Liang’s films. She has been working as a Line Producer for Films, TV,
commercials and foreign film productions before she joined House On Fire in 2015 to
develop and produce feature films. Recently worked as Co-producer on a French/Taiwan
co-production with Cinema Defacto on feature film “Territory of Love” directed by Romain
Cogitore; and to challenge the future of storytelling, she produced a VR satire “Your
Spiritual Temple Sucks” directed by John Hsu, which is an official selection of Sundance
Film Festival 2018.
