Synopsis

A mushroom is a door in the floor. Open it and discover nature’s greatest revelation: an endless underground network secretly feeding life to the world above. And yet, we know more about the surface of the moon than we do about mushrooms. What if we knew more?
Using sight, sound, touch and scent, you will experience the complete life-cycle of mushrooms: spores, mycelium, fruiting body, and the inevitable decay. Working closely with the Smallhold Mushroom Farm, we have spent the last 2 years developing a unique volumetric time-lapse technology that brings the mushroom kingdom to life in a new way, never before experienced.

Biography

Elie Zananiri is an Emmy-winning virtual reality creator, and experiential developer specialized in large-scale installations, live events and mobile applications. His work experiments with breaking social boundaries in public spaces, through immersive experiences and generative compositions.

Winslow Porter is an award-winning director, producer and creative technologist specializing in virtual/augmented reality as well as large-scale immersive installations, co-creating VR experiences Tree and Giant. Winslow is obsessed with the mushroom kingdom while both in BK and Maine, creating Forager to help share their awesome wonder and beauty.
